After a brief discussion, the financial plan for 2014 was accepted unanimously. After introductory words by the president, Prof. Dr. Josip Faričić was nominated an honorary member of the Croatian Cartographic Society for his exceptional contribution to the development of contemporary Croatian cartography, his perennial prolific collaboration with the Croatian Cartographic Society and especially co-organizing the 9th conference Cartography and Geoinformation in Zadar, November 20-22, 2013. On proposal by the Presidency, the Croatian Cartographic Society handed an acknowledgment to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vera Graovac-Matassi, head of the Department of Geography of the University of Zadar for their contribution to the organization of the 9th conference Cartography and Geoinformation. In addition, the Croatian Cartographic Society also handed an acknowledgment to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lena Mirošević, president of the Croatian Geographic Society – Zadar for their contribution to the organization of the 9th conference Cartography and Geoinformation.
